80% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc

The grapevines of Château des Laurets cover 50 hectares of hillsides with southern exposure and occasional outcroppings of limestone. This excellent clay-limestone terroir gives the Merlot of Saint-Émilion its full power and typicality.
 
Extra care is given to growing methods to achieve, in particular, a low yield of high quality grapes at optimal maturity.  WS 88
